Basic Eggless Chocolate sponge cake

Eggless Chocolate Sponge Cake..supersoft and spongy....



Ingredients

1 ½ cup maida+ 2 tbsp maida for dusting tin
1/4 cup icing sugar
2 tbsp cornflour
½ cup cocoa powder
1/2 cup  homemade ghee/unsalted butter/oil
1cup condensed milk(  homemade)
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
Pinch salt
4 drops vanilla essence
2-3 tbsp warm milk

Instant Condensed milk recipe:-
1 cup warm milk
2 cup milk powder
1 cube butter ( 1 tbsp melted butter)
Blend these 3 ingredients together till smooth and creamy
Instant Condensed milk is ready.



Method:-

Preheat oven at 180 deg for 3-4 min

Grease tin and dust with APF/ maida ..keep aside.

1) Sieve all dry ingredients in  a bowl

2) blend icing sugar with ghee till smooth n fluffy

3) add condensed milk and vanilla essence with it and blend again...

4) now add wet ingredients gradually with dry ingredients... Keep folding till it turns into smooth batter....

5) pour it into cake tin and tap 3-4 times

6) place the tin in the oven at 180 deg for 35 min

7) remove n check with toothpick

8) if comes out clean,the cake is done,if not ,give more 5 min to bake.

9) let it rest for 10 min..till completely cooled.

10) demould it n keep on wire rack...



Super soft n spongy Eggless chocolate cake is ready
..see I have halved it for frosting😊😊😊



Note:-  For cooker version....

 Preheat cooker,only placing  ring inside for 3 min on high flame.and .remove the whistle.
Meanwhile prepare cake batter  in the tin .
Place it on the ring in the cooker.put the lid n  lower the flame.
Bake it for 40-45 min.and check...further procedure as above.
