Innovation goes on in my kitchen everyday,today my hubby demanded something new in paneer...he asked me to make very different dish other than regular recipes....this idea of fusion hits me..and with minty flavour thought to give it a crispy crunch...so garnished with roasted garlic papad..this turned out absolutely delectable,and very flavourful recipe..
Ingredients:-
250 gm Paneer
½ cup mint leaves
½ cup corriander leaves
1 tsp cummin seeds
3 big onions finely chopped
2 tomatoes finely chopped
1 tbsp kasuri methi
1 tsp kashmiri chilli powder
½ tbsp turmeric
½tsp garam masala
½tsp cinnamon powder
½ tsp fennel powder
Salt as per taste
½ tsp sugar
Pinch of chat masala
4-5 finely chopped garlic
1 green chilli slited
½ inch finely chopped ginger
2tbsp oil/olive oil
Garlic papads roasted
Method:-
First blend corriander and mint leaves with cummin seeds.
Heat oil in a pan, add garlic,green chilli and ginger.Saute till garlicky,gingerly aroma hits you..
Add all the masala powders one by one.then add green paste..keep sauting.
Then add onions.saute till it becomes translucent. Add tomatoes..mix n put the lid for few minutes..remove the lid and add salt ,sugar and chat masala.
Now add Paneer cubes ,mix well .lastly but not the least add kasuri methi. Mix it properly and put of the flame.
Garnish with crushed roasted garlic papad while serving.
