Prawns Capsicum Masala......My style...
Ingredients :-
5-6 medium size prawns (cleaned n deviened)
Half capsicum..wash n.cut em into cubes
1 big riped tomato
1 big onion
1 tbsp green chilli and ginger paste
1/2 tbsp Kashmir chilli powder
Pinch of sugar
Salt as per us taste
2 tbsp white basic gravy
( for 1 cup basic white gravy wash clean 3/4 cup magaj and boil with pinch of salt 4-5 cashewnut,1 cloves and 1 bay leaf).drain out water and blend till smooth paste adding warm water).
1 tbsp mixed spiced powder (cummin powder,c orriander powder,turmeric,masala elaichee)
2 tbsp Mustard oil or vegetable oil
Half lemon juice
Method:-
1) Marinate Prawns in lemon juice and turmeric for 10 min.keep aside
2) Meanwhile, heat 1 tbsp of oil in a pan....add in onion. Fry till it turns lil brown. ..then add chopped tomatoes...keep sauting .
3) Now .when tomatoes starts melting add rest of the ingredients except ..basic white gravy..sugar..capsicum and salt.
4) Put off the flame after 1 min.and let the mixture cool down.
5) grind the mixture till fine paste. Heat oil in a pan ..add ginger chilli paste .keep sauting till raw smell goes off..then add grinded paste..Salt and sugar.mix n cover the lid of the pan...cook till I can see oil separate a..then add basic white gravy..keep Stirling .forfew min..
6)on other side...grease skillet and place prawns and capsicum pieces over it .roast till done
Finally add prawns in the masala n mix well..put off the flame and add capsicum.garnish with corriandet...and serve hot with green salad and naans
