Caramel Custard.....


Caramel Custard Pudding ..,.very easy to make .An elegant and classic dessert, creamy and  caramel-glazed,which is simply irresistible.I make this scrumptious dessert very often,as its all tyme favorite of all at home...




Ingredients:-

500 ml milk( boiled & cooled)
6 eggs
3 slice breads
1 ½ cup sugar divided
2-3 drops vanilla extract

Method:-
 In a cooker tin  cook and stir 3/4 of sugar over low heat until sugar is melted and golden.
Put off flame ,tilting to coat bottom of tin and let it stand for 10 min.
Meanwhile blend milk,sugar,slice breads,eggs n vanilla essence till combined...pour this mixture over caramel in tin .
Prepare cooker.place ring inside  the bottom and water till ring totally immersed... Now keep the tin over ring and put the lid of the cooker....cook until 3 whistles.
Put off flame and remove the tin.insert knife near the center and checks if it comes out clean..
To unmold it,run a knife around rim and unmold onto dessert plate .
Serve chilled or warm.
