Talille masala kulle/fried masala crabs


Maharashtrian style Fried Masala  Crabs with salad



Ingredients:-

4 khadpi /stone crabs(preferably),
2 tbsp malwani masala,
1/2 tsp turmeric,
1 tbsp roasted gram flour
salt as per taste,
Lemon juice,
Ginger garlic n chilli paste 2 tbsp
fine semolina for coating

For the paste,

dried grated coconut 1 cup,
1/2" cinnamon stick,
2 cloves,
2 garlic cloves,
Lil tamarind,
half sliced onion

Methods:-

Remove the shell n clean the crabs.and wash it only once.marinade it with salt turmeric,and lemon juice...keep aside .
meanwhile roast the coconut,garlic ,onion,cloves and cinnamon till brown..and then grind adding tamarind ,malwani masala...salt as per taste.
Add roasted gram flour into the grinded paste..
coat the crab fully in this paste and again coat with fine semolina..and shallow fry...on lower flame. Fry upside down..till crispy..u can see the change in color..when done put off the flame ...serve hot with salad...
